Juan José Álvarez Rubio is Professor of Private International Law at the UPV / EHU and co-founder and Secretary of GLOBERNANCE (Institute for Democratic Governance). He was Secretary General of the Basque Council of the European Movement (EUROBASK / CVME) (May 2003-2012) and currently continues to exercise his function as an expert for the EUROPEAN COMMISSION (General Directorate of Justice, Freedom and Security), on December 17, 2007, for the areas of Civil Justice, borders, protection of personal data and security areas. His lines of research focus on Migration Law and Private International Law, Maritime Law, International Trade Law and Human Rights, European Law and areas related to internal conflicts. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and leads the UPV / EHU's consolidated group of international law as IP. In 2015 he received the Eusko-ikaskuntza-Laboral Kutxa Award for Humanities, Culture, Arts and Social Sciences.

Chairman of the ICC World Chambers Federation International Certificates of Origin Council which oversees the issue of over 15 million origin documents worldwide annually. At LCCI, responsible for the Chamber's international trade facilitation and promotion activities. LCCI issues per year over 140,000 export and import documents, answers trade enquiries, and organises trade missions, export seminars and international trade training. Also responsible for the LCCI Asian Business Association, Enterprise Europe Network office and information service. He was previously Chairman of the ICC WCF World ATA Carnet Council to manage and develop the temporary import and export regime for professional equipment, samples and goods for trade fairs worldwide. He holds an MSc in International Business and is a writer and consultant on the mechanics of international trade including procedures and regulations. Susi Dennison is a senior policy fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations and the director of ECFR's European Power programme. Her topics of focus include human rights, rule of law and justice issues, and the EU's response to the 2015 refugee crisis. The European Power programme focuses on the strategy, politics and governance of European foreign policy. She previously led ECFR’s foreign policy scorecard project and worked with the MENA programme on North Africa. Before joining ECFR in 2010, she worked for Amnesty International, where she focused on human rights protection and strengthening EU ties with Africa, Asia, and the Americas. She began her career in HM Treasury in the United Kingdom. There she held a range of positions, including with the EU Co-ordination and Strategy team during the Convention on the Future of Europe. She has also served in the Private Office of the Chief Secretary to the Treasury.

Elvire Fabry is Senior Research Fellow at the Jacques Delors Institute, in charge of trade policy, EU in globalisation and Brexit. Her areas of expertise include EU bilateral trade negotiations, investment, global governance, WTO reform, Brexit, the Belt and Road Initiative, and perceptions of globalisation. She is also co-founder and member of the advising committee of Proeuropa. After being at the European Commission’s Forward Studies Unit (1995), she joined the prospective studies and foresight centre, Futuribles International. In 2003-2004 she was research fellow at the Fondation Robert Schuman. From 2005 until spring 2009 she was director of the European programme at the Fondation pour l’Innovation Politique. She joined the Jacques Delors Institute in 2009. Elvire Fabry holds a PhD in political science from the IEP (Sciences-Po) Paris, and Master’s degrees in philosophy and international relations from the Panthéon Sorbonne – Paris I University.

He joined the European External Action Service upon its creation as Ambassador/Head of the European Union Delegation to Namibia in January 2011. He is currently Head of Division for Israel, the Occupied Palestinian Territories and the Middle East Peace Process.

Posteriormente fue Director General de Financiación Internacional, y en virtud del cargo, Consejero de CESCE y del Banco Europeo de Inversiones. Ha sido Consejero Económico y Comercial en la Embajada de España en Washington D.C. y Subdirector General de Comercio Internacional de Servicios e Inversiones. Es autor del libro Por un cambio en la economía (2016) y co-editor del blog de política económica blognewdeal.

Cristina Ginés is Business Development Director for Europe in SENER, Ingeniería y Sistemas, SA, within the Strategic Business Unit for Infrastructures & Transport (rail, roads, airports, ports… ). She has more than 20 years of professional experience in international business development, mostly in the field of engineering services for transport infrastructures. Cristina holds a Degree in Law, a LLM in International and European Law from Université Catholique de Louvain and an Executive MBA from IE Business School.

Fergus represents Make UK, the manufacturers’ organisation in Brussels, leading Make UK’s engagement and liaising with the European institutions and stakeholders on European policies. Working through his extensive European network, he has represented manufacturers across Europe for over 5 years. Fergus ensures that manufacturers have a strong voice in Europe. He follows the European legislative programme and provides advice and guidance on political developments in the EU. His work on Brexit helps to develop Make UK’s strategy and feeds key recommendations into governments and stakeholders. Fergus has a Masters in Chemistry from the University of Warwick. He worked in the food industry providing guidance and analysis for dairy companies. He sat on various government and industry advisory panels in the UK and abroad. He spent six months in the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

Miguel Otero Iglesias es investigador principal para la economía política internacional en el Real Instituto Elcano y profesor en el Instituto de Empresa (IE). Tiene un doctorado en economía política por la universidad de Oxford Brookes y fue profesor en la escuela de negocios ESSCA en París y la Universidad de Oxford. Entre otros lugares, ha realizado estancias de investigación en la London School of Economics de Londres y en la Academia China de Ciencias Sociales de Pequín. Es experto en la geopolítica del dinero, la unión monetaria y económica europea, la gobernanza económica mundial y la economía china. Es el autor del libro The Euro, the Dollar and the Global Financial Crisis y ha publicado más de un centenar de artículos en revistas académicas especializadas y medios de comunicación internacionales como El País, Foreign Affairs o el Financial Times. Es fundador y coordinador del European Think Tank Network on China (ETNC).

Víctor Rey es Director de Operación y Mantenimiento del negocio de Eólica Marina de Iberdrola, donde lleva más de diez años desarrollando proyectos en esta tecnología. Es Ingeniero de Caminos, Canales y Puertos y cuenta con diez años de experiencia previa en el sector de la construcción. Desde hace tres años reside en Londres, desde donde se dirige el negocio a través de ScottishPower Renewables, filial británica de Iberdrola,. Es parte de un equipo internacional distribuido en diferentes ciudades europeas y que actualmente está implantándose también en Massachusetts. Como responsable de la operación de los parques marinos, desarrolla su actividad en una industria de claro ámbito internacional ligada a fuertes regulaciones locales.
