14th European Bat Research Symposium

This conference on european bats is aimed at expert scholars, consultants and government technicians. In fact, bats, as one of the most threatened mammal group as well as their relatively unknown biology and elusive behaviour, elicit interest to many people. The extravagant lifestyle of these creatures in addition to myths and misbeliefs about them increases the interest among the general public too.

The European Bat Research Symposiumis held every three years and the participation ranges between 150 and 300 people. The 14th edition will be held in the summer of 2017 in the Basque Country, and hopefully  a large number of people will gather there. The organizers hope that in addition to the quality of the academic talk and discussion, the natural environment and the warm atmosphere will also attract new participants.
