IX International School on Organometallic Chemistry “Marcial Moreno Mañas”

Short description of nature and aim of conference and/or session titles
This is the 9th edition of a School whose purpose is the training of PhD students and young
Doctors in the field of Organometallic Chemistry and Homogeneus Catalysis.
The School will have the participation of eight prominent researchers from European
universities and research institutes, along with one from industry. They have been invited to
present their own results by means of an oral presentation (aprox. 50 min. total duration + 10
min. for questions):

· Belén Martin (Stockholms Universitet)
· Robert Paton (University of Oxford)
· Ricarda Miller (Bayer Cropscience SAS)
Furthermore, the young Doctors will have the opportunity to share the achievements of their
research activity by means of short communications (aprox. 15 min.) and some students will
be invited to deliver flash presentations (aprox. 5 min.) to reinforce their poster contributions.
All the presentations are given in English, the official language of the School.
The first edition of the International School on Organometallic Chemistry “Marcial Moreno
Mañas” was held in 2008, and besides being the annual training meeting of the members of
the ORFEO-CINQA team is open to the participation of the whole scientific community
