Descripción
The first edition of the international workshop CINERAMA25 aims at exploring the forefront of nonlinear photocurrents and magnetism by bringing together a leading group of international researchers, in addition to students, postdocs and other participants to share the latest contributions on cutting-edge topics including but not limited to, the bulk photovoltaic effect, the geometric and topological nature of magneto-optical responses, Floquet physics, van der Waals magnets, orbital and spin-orbital textures and altermagnetism. In addition to invited and contributed talks, we plan an afternoon hands-on tutorial on the WannierBerri computational code to showcase the calculation of some of these effects.

Julen Ibañez Azpiroz
Centro de Fisica de Materiales
Julen Ibañez (Hondarribia, 1986) has a Bachelor's degree and a PhD in Physics from the University of the Basque Country. He completed a postdoctoral stay in Jülich (Germany), after which he returned to the Basque Country thanks to a Marie Sklodowska-Curie scholarship. He is currently an Ikerbasque Associate researcher at the Materials Physics Center in Donostia, where he directs a research group in the field of nonlinear optics in condensed matter physics.
